What a soundboard does for sales
Cold calling means saying many of the same lines again and again: your reason for calling, your pitch, your answer to “Just send me some information” and your transition to a meeting. On the first call of the day those lines sound fresh. By the fiftieth, saying them just as clearly takes real effort.
A soundboard takes that repetition off your plate. You record each important line once, on a good day and in your best tone. During the call you play it the moment it fits. The other person hears your own voice. Everything individual you still say live.
How ROYVIRA works on a call
You always say the greeting live. ROYVIRA then supports you in the call with your pitch and your answers to objections.
ROYVIRA is a Mac app. Every line sits as a tile on your soundboard. Start a clip by clicking its tile or with a keyboard shortcut, F2 for your opener, for example. Stop clips ends playback at once; by default it is on F12.
So the other person hears your voice and your clips, ROYVIRA routes both through the virtual audio driver BlackHole 2ch into your calling app. “Set up call audio” guides you through your profile, microphone, headphones and BlackHole 2ch step by step.
- Record: record your line with your headset right in ROYVIRA, listen, name it and save it.
- Arrange: every line becomes a tile. One idea per clip makes selection easier.
- Play: click or press a key. Your live voice stays in the call.
- Keep talking: listen, respond to the other person and speak live whenever you want.
Your voice, not an artificial one
ROYVIRA does not generate a voice. The app plays exactly the original recordings you made yourself. You choose the wording, emphasis and pace. That way the soundboard fits your own style of conversation, not the other way round.
Your voice clips are stored locally on your Mac. The app uses an account service for sign-in and licence checks. ROYVIRA does not store conversation content centrally.
Which lines belong on your soundboard
Start with a single clip, such as the reason for your call. One of your own clips is enough to get started. Then add the passages you say in almost every call, one by one.

- A short pitch for when the other person is ready to listen.
- Your answers to recurring objections.
- Your transition to a meeting and your line after a transfer.
Who a soundboard is for
ROYVIRA is built by salespeople, for salespeople: for salespeople who call from a Mac and have many calls every day. You need a Mac and a calling app on that Mac where you can choose the microphone.
A confirmed compatibility list for calling apps is still pending. So test your setup with a test partner before real calls: voice alone, clip alone and both together.
